Tim started playing soccer as soon as he can stand in the UK. His father was a professional Goalkeeper who played for clubs such as EPL’s Leicester City and earned England U-18 and U-21 call ups. After hanging up his boots he went into coaching/management where Tim would spend every day watching and learning from some of the best professionals in the game. Inevitably this kind of upbringing would give Tim a solid background to embark on his own professional career in Soccer.

Tim’s soccer journey has taken him to professional clubs such as Notts County, Burton Albion, Port Vale, Derby County and St. Mirren.

Notable achievements in Tim’s playing career include:

  • Captaining an English representative team to tour Germany against leading European teams
  • Played against England youth
  • Offered placement at a US college to play soccer
  • At 12 Tim became one of the youngest players to play in an adult semi-professional league game in the UK

Unfortunately in the late 90’s during a cup final game, a poor challenge on Tim caused considerable damage to his knee which required reconstruction and put an end to the professional dream. Tim returned to the Semi Professional game and still plays to this day in Canada.

Not wanting to let the experience and knowledge go to waste, Tim is now concentrating his efforts in coaching. Tim possesses a number of coaching badges in Soccer and is continuously educating himself in all aspects of coaching, from the physical to the mental aspect of the individual and game. Along with progressing individual athletes in their quest to reach their goals, Tim is also an Advanced Development team coach and Rep team coach for the largest soccer club in Canada. The love of the game that Tim has grown up around, wanting to share the knowledge and skills he has, makes Tim ideal for anyone looking to advance themselves”.
